Uart Display Module
Uart display module is a TFT color LCD display module with serial communication control function and an intelligent serial port control display that can be configured and developed twice. It can connect PLC, frequency converter, temperature control instrument, data acquisition module and other external devices. Hardware includes processor, LCD screen, touch screen, FLASH storage, RS232 or 485 serial chip, audio and video decoding chip, SD card slot, etc. Some models selectively include WIFI, 4G, Bluetooth, voice recognition, face recognition, fingerprint recognition, intelligent recognition and other modules, in which the performance of the processor determines the performance of the serial screen products, is the core unit of the serial screen.
The operating software is generally divided into two parts, namely “system software running in the serial screen hardware” and “screen configuration software running in the PC Windows operating system”. The user must first use the picture configuration software of the serial screen to make the corresponding “project file”, then through the PC and the serial port of the serial screen, SD card, U disk, etc., to download the prepared “project file” to the processor and FLASH of the serial screen to run. The system software of the serial screen is used to drive the whole hardware to work together, including analyzing, loading, running and refreshing the interface of “project files”, analyzing serial communication, touch screen operation, data processing, data storage, etc., then responding through serial port, WIFI, 4G, Bluetooth communication, voice recognition, face recognition, fingerprint recognition and other peripherals. Screen configuration software is used to support the serial screen, different brands of serial screen configuration software is different, the configuration software Visual TFT, the user could develop the serial screen display control program in the configuration way.
Advantages
In previous application scenarios, if you want to develop touch screen products, developmental engineers need to first design the screen related hardware, then develop the screen MCU program, etc., this way will be a very long period of work, it is difficult to make it in a short term. The biggest convenience brought by the serial screen is that it can free the developmental engineer from the hardware and MCU program, they can just focus on their own projects. Visual TFT is a tool that allows developmental engineers to develop “project files” in a “what you see is what you get” way. Just need to finish the UI pictures and configure the interface through Visual TFT, write the related logic and then compile it. The compiled project can be simulated through the Visual TFT “virtual serial screen” to debugging. After debugging, the compiled project download package can be downloaded to the entity’s serial port screen through the serial port, SD card, or U disk, etc. The serial port screen can normally run the corresponding control display program and the serial port also has the function of communication.
